Kemari Bailey is great inspiration to many young basketball players trying to apply their trade either in the UK or abroad.
At 6’4, this powerhouse player did not always see basketball as his first love. He started of playing rugby and was very successful, but what seems to be one sport’s loss is basketball’s gain.

In just three years, Kemari has gone from strength to strength under the guidance of Ballers Heaven Coach Roger Payne.
A native of Birmingham, Kemari watched his father play and started to fall in love with the game. He decided to focus on basketball and in fewer than two years his aggressive style of play earned him a spot on the under-16 Great Britain squad at the European Championships.

He made such a good impression that a high school in Utah invited him to receive education and play, and in his first year, the Juan Diego team won the league.
He is now a crowd favourite in the state of Utah. Not only has he become a phenomenal player but he has made the honour role for his amazing hard work in the class room, having taken his Grade Point Average from 2.8 to a staggering 3.9.
